Google trends are a lot of fun to play around with. One can find some interesting patterns, including that everyone gets drunk in December. How do I know this? Well, in December there are:

  1. More searches for ‘wine’ than in any other month of the year

  2. More searches for ‘vodka’ than in any other month of the year

  3. More searches for ‘wine store’ and ‘liquor store’ than in any other month of the year

Also, why have searches for ‘liquor store’ been steadily increasing since 2010?

  4. More searches for ‘liquor’

  5. A significant spike in searches for ‘Eggnog’

  6. More searches for ‘drinking games’ than in any other month of the year

  7. More people have (search for) hangovers

Ok, it doesn’t actually mean everyone gets drunk in December, but it is interesting.
